Dobbins you might want to as well...
Tools Needed

Paint I Recommend (High Temp and Flexible)Like your MOM!!!

Areas in pink are 10mm bolts. Blue areas, and Green Area are clips

Remove Grill, use a long #2 Flat head to get the lower clips and regular flat head to get upper clips

Pull grill fwd and it pops right out

These 2 10mm bolts need to be removed

Don't forget this 10mm bolt

Remove these clips for ease of removal

Disconnect all light connectors behind the housing

Pull on the headlight from the opposing grill side. It will pop out very easy then pull lightly till it comes out.

Go ahead and remove the bulbs and rubber seal around the high beam housing.

Carefully push on the HID backpack with a 1/4 turn counter clockwise twist then pull it gently. The backpack will pop of the bulb then pinch the metal retaining clips carefully remove the HID bulb DO NOT TOUCH THE GLASS ON ANY OF THE BULBS

Now that the bulbs are out and seal is out remove perimeter screws with a Phillips screwdriver. Preheat your oven to about 200 F to 220 F

Find a cookie sheet, place the headlight assembly on the pan. Place in the oven preferably on the middle rack.

Your going to want to put them in there for 12:00 minutes

Remember to use gloves peeps I know I shouldn't have to say that but I'm going too.

Now carefully take out the headlight from the oven. Set it down if its to hot for your gloves, let it sit for a minute. You dont want it to cool off, thats the point why their in the oven. Go ahead and pull apart the assembly. Don't worry if you get alittle black goo on anything. It comes off easy. Start pulling from the top of the headlight first then with the flat head gently pry on the clip area and pull it will seperate easily just don't pry to hard.

Carefully pull the orange reflector out, use needle ose pliers if your having trouble. The key here is to not crack the bezel. It is very easy todo. You can mask the clear plastic peice if you don't feel 100% comfortible. I chose to delete the orange.

You can also choose to take this little orange guy out. That way when you put it together you get rid of all orange.

See!!!! Its gone with the use of a small flathead and light prying.

Now here is the part where you want to take your time. Chrome plastic hates paint. So do light coats wait 10 min a coat. Light sanding is optional, not required though. I like the semi gloss the best. It drys fast and even not prone to running and not to flashy.

I chose to paint my orange relflector to eliminate the side holes that are really visible.

You can start to see the difference.

Go ahead and place the bezel in the lens and screw the one holding screw back in.

Now put the other housing back on the cookie sheet place in the oven for 10:00 minutes so you can sandwich it back together

After sandwiching it all back together put in all perimeter screws the HB seal etc.

Put the bulbs back in

This is the finished product. No orange/blacked out bezel

Here they are on the car
