Well here's my build so far... I have lost prior photos of the car when i first got it. I picked it up with stock suspension painted black se wheels and a blown head gasket with nasty tan interior. I bought it for $400 LOL. Anyways here it is so far the childhood of the build ;D RB25det?or KA24det? i have a fresh dual cam in it but idk just yet... I have some loot saved up but can't really decide if i wanna turbo the KA. My list of mods are currently unimpressive but hey gotta start somewhere. I would like to thank Kyle at DDS performance for being a mentor. He always lets me steal a space at his home and guides me through lots of things including my KA engine teardown and build back process. Thanks kyle (and Dave, Cody too) ;D

Hey it's a money pit what do ya know :o
Okay here are some more pictures. I'm kind of at idle right now awaiting parts (RB mounts, driveshaft, etc.) So in the mean time I eliminated quite a bit of clutter A/C lines hoses in the engine bay, more to go and then clean. Haven't 100% decided on my cooling issue. Apparently the RB likes to run hot under stress (according to reliable sources), well let that not be the case here. Ideas are welcome, but I think I have a solution. The idea is to introduce more fluid volume or just more fluid through out the system with adequate flow thus cooling dramatically. More fluid at an adequate flow rate dissipates the heat. Quite simple which i'm sure everybody knows. So to do said "system" im thinking Dual oil coolers, Accu sump possibly, longer larger lines to supply, Nismo low temp thermostat, a nice Griffin radiator with custom shroud running a modified fan (Ford Thunderbird fan) on high speed with relays set up to prevent failure, voltage and current inconsistencies tend to cause melting if not properly done. Don't Hate on the T- Bird fan that bitch moves air!!!! Like I said Ideas are welcome. I know someone has tricks and knowledge of this ;D Anyways some more pics.

So McKinney at McKinney MotorSports has redeemed himself in my book. We got off at abit of a Sketchy start when the KA24de mount kit for my Datsun 510 didn't quite bolt up, actually far from it. This RB kit on the other hand was flawless worth every dime. As a good business owner he took responsibility in knowing the previous kit (510 KA24) was defective and took care of me on this last transaction (s13 RB25). So much appreciated and just so you know in case you want to buy from him ;D

Maf (N62,Z32) $40 at main gate junkyard. Usually the junkyards are scarce for the parts we need. But I went there on 9-11 and they had all kinds of good cars(sc300's one with 2jzge and other with the v8,2 supras in good condition, 2 240's plus a red 240 with full black interior,j30's with vg30de's in them so 300zx parts,so on so forth. So I went ahead and bought all the push lock fittings I needed. Have to say a bit pricey. :-\ Also have been putting the puzzle back together. On with the intake, currently finding the best mounting location for the FPR (Just bought the liquid gauge)... Ordered a lot more parts today, the Koyo/Flexlite slim fans w/ shroud, also a black turbo blanket and black header wrap, as well as ordered a 3 gal surge tank(This set me back abit, but is the last of big expenses). All thats left really is mount the turbo/ run lines, wrap the header, re angle the screamer pipe from the wastegate, put on turbo blanket, make new down pipe, make new charge pipe to turbo after clocked. Last but not least drain my tank put in 3 gal surge tank in trunk mount inline walbro,fill up with E85 and head to Kyle's (DDS) for the tune. :) Seems like a lot still but I'm knocking it out quick.
